Naomi Ost

Naomi Ost makes emotional music for people who love a good story.

Born and raised in Kent, Naomi is a singer-songwriter with a big heart, a lot of feelings, and a firm belief in the healing powers of a well-timed cup of tea and a banging chorus.

Drawing on the lyrical intimacy of Joni Mitchell, the emotional resonance of Eva Cassidy, and the relatability of Carole King, she writes with the instinct of someone who needs to write: not to shock or provoke, but to soothe, to process, to nourish.

Her music is folk-pop with an indie sensibility and a healthy dose of whimsy - equal parts cosy, confessional, and uplifting, with soul-hugging melodies and lyrics that feel like voice notes from your most emotionally intelligent friend.

Having self-released her first songs from her bedroom and been gigging since her teens, Naomi signed with indie label Abubilla Music in 2024. Her heartfelt sound has already caught the attention of BBC Introducing Kent, who named her single “g&t” their Record of the Week, spotlighting her as a rising voice in the UK’s new wave of storytellers.

Due for release in summer 2025, her debut EP is for people who feel deeply, dream big, and are trying to be okay in a world that often isn’t. To give listeners a first taste of what’s to come, she’ll be celebrating the project with an EP Launch Gig on 2nd December at Paper Dress Vintage, an intimate night of music, stories, and heartfelt connection, where laughter, tears, and sing-alongs are all warmly encouraged.
