The Saturday Morning Canasta Club Releases
The live album of the gig at the Half Moon 29th April 2012
The Fourth Album from The Saturday Morning Canasta Club. The album features songs and vocals from our newest Discovery artist Michael Izett, Charlotte Reed & regulars Louise Calf, Andy Patterson and Jimmy Allen.
Released in December 2010 with more Discover Artists and with the core band of the Saturday Morning Canasta Club really finding its feet. The album features songs from new artist Lew Allen, and vocals from Imogen, Andy, Louise, Jimmy, Charlotte, Lara and Gus.
Our second CD, released in summer 2010 and featuring Gus Warriner, Mike Park, Sophie Mackinder and Imogen Commander as Discover Artists.
Our first CD, released in the Autumn of 2009 and featuring our first two Discover Artists: Louise Calf and Ed Stone. They contributed four songs to the album as Discover Artists and then joined the band!

The Autumn Spanish Jam – the fourth – gave the chance to work on some tunes now that If ‘I Were a Little Birdie’ (album 3) was wrapped up.
6 days, 5 nights in the studio. 287 diet cokes, 314 San Miguels, 816 cups of coffee. And lots of Air Conditioning.
Pink ‘Champagne’, Mah Knees, a whole lotta mixing and some card games.
Our Summer 2009 Spanish Jam was filled with sun, canasta, hi-los, wine and San Miguel.
