Adele Flips the Bird (and promotes our logo!)

Congrats to Adele and Ed.   As some of you may know, we have a long term co-branding deal with Adele.   Whereever possible, we ask her to talk about Abubilla Music or try at least to mention our logo – you know the ‘little birdie’.  Well she did us proud last night:

We did a little research to look at other wonderful Brit moments.  Here are three:

Twenty Years Ago:  KLF does a thrash metal version of their song 3AM Eternal causing the musical director to walk out in disgust.  Prompts two immediate video ideas:

• Remind ourselves of 3 AM Eternal, with the ‘complete version.’

• Linkin’ Park’s Cover of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep:  Not really a thrash metal version, but you get the idea.

 15 years ago:  Spice Girls win ‘Brit Best Moment of All Time’ with Who Do You think you are.  Later, Geri sells British flag dress for over £40K in charity auction to have Guinness record for Highest Price Paid for Pop clothing.  You can’t make this stuff up.  Here’s the performance:

 Last year, Adele blew everyone away with her performance of Something Like You.  Not sure if you’ve seen it as it only has 91M hits on you tube:
