R.I.P. Bob Babbitt

We salute the life and music of Bob Babbitt. Bass player in the Funk brothers – the house band of Tamla Motown.

Bob died on the 16th July 2012 after a struggle with cancer.

He took over from James Jameson in the Funk brothers and went on to play on over 200 top 40 hits.
