R.I.P. Big Jim Sullivan

All at Abubilla were sad to hear of the death of Jim Sullivan. A consummate session musician he came to the fore, along with Jimmy Page, in the early sixties and became one of the most sought after studio guitarists in the world.

Big Jim played over 1000 chart records and with artists as diverse as Marty Wilde, Billy Fury and Matt Monroe to Rolf Harris and Bennie Hill. He was a member of Tom Jones’ band, and met and formed a friendship with Elvis as a result.
