Chio has not yet shared her musical wisdom, so I’ve stepped in because of a new discovery:

Folk is the new four letter word

…and we all like the style d’español over here at Abubilla, so Alejandro Fernández feels like a great match for us.

This guy, with his “deep velvet-like voice” recorded his album ‘Mi Verdad’ in 1999, and is a folk singer from Mexico City! Recently he’s become a bit more of a pop singer, but I personally like the old folk style called ‘Mariachi’ that he is most famous for.

Long live folk music!
